HOW I LEARNED ABOUT THE ASCENDED MASTER TEACHINGS

              I have already talked about part of my life in one of my previous Blogs on how I found and believed in Karma and Reincarnation. I was born a Christian because my parents are Christians as that will usually be the case, I suppose, even to others.  Though my father was a Catholic, he had interests in other beliefs including some sort of supernatural healings using power words (in Latin), which he probably got from my grandfather (mother side) who was Herbal Doctor. I have mentioned how my father brought to my attention the life of Edgar Cayce who has psychic abilities and he channels a personality from the Spirit world. Under tranced states, Edgar Cayce delivers messages coming from this personality, which has come to be called Edgar Cayce readings. Subjects from these Readings are broad which include medical science, health, and spirituality including karma and reincarnation.  Many books were published related to this Edgar Cayce Readings and I got a hold one of those, which I bought from one of the popular bookstores in Manila. It is from that book where I learned about Karma and reincarnation and I began to believe in it as it answered many of my questions about life which cannot be answered satisfactorily from Christian perspectives. From then on, I began to read books about Buddhism and Hinduism as I learned that it supports the belief in karma and reincarnation. 
               When I was a university student, I frequently visit the Bookstores not far from my school especially during my vacant hours. It was in one of these bookstores (National Book Store) where I bought the Edgar Cayce book. One day while I was there just spending my time, I came across the book “Saint Germain on Alchemy”. I was amazed while reading it not only because of its truth, beauty and eloquence but because I found at the back pages the different incarnations of the author Saint Germain. Among Saint Germain incarnations were Prophet Samuel, Saint Joseph, Saint Alban, Merlin, Roger Bacon, Christopher Columbus, and Sir Francis Bacon. I wondered how they knew it.  I learned later from the contents that it was Dictated through a Messenger. And I realized that this is much better than Edgar Cayce Readings. Since I frequently visit the Bookstore, I found out that there were other books of the same publisher and organization, The Summit University and The Summit Lighthouse respectively. I was astonished when I found the book, “Prayer and Meditation by Jesus and Kuthumi”. I asked myself, “Jesus? the Author of this book!? This is incredible!” I resolved to buy those books someday when I have enough money. Those books were expensive for me at that time, as those were imported from the USA and made of high-quality materials. I was probably in my graduating years in college at that time (1981-1982). Fortunately, the Vice-Dean of the College offered me a Teaching job shortly after I graduated from college. Now that I had a source of income, I managed to buy all those books. Among these books are Climb the Highest Mountain, Saint Germain on Alchemy, Advanced Studies on Alchemy, Prayer and Meditation, Studies of Human Aura, Advanced Studies on Human aura, Understanding Yourself the Doorway to Superconscious, Quietly Comes the Buddha, and Cosmic Consciousness.
               Since I knew the address of the Summit Lighthouse in the USA (Malibu, California at that time) as it is printed in the books, I ordered their Decree book Vol 1.  I diligently gave those decrees every day. I started to think if there was an affiliated organization in the Philippines where I could visit or probably become a member. Since there was no contact address and phone number in the books, I thought there was none. One day in the year 1985, while going home from work, I was surprised to come across a flyer posted on the wall outside a Department Store with a picture of Elizabeth Clare Prophet apparently coming to Manila to conduct series of seminars. The Group apparently is Stumping for Coming Revolution in Higher Consciousness in the Asia Pacific.
               I remember myself attending the seminars, and there were days when my Dad and one of my sisters attended too. I recalled there was an occasion in a seminar where attendees were lining up to receive an emerald ray healing where the Messenger would press an emerald stone on your forehead while she was making calls. The three of us had an opportunity to receive such healing calls.
               There was a day when I arrived early, and as I entered the venue, I was surprised to see Mrs. Prophet already sitting in a chair on the elevated stage as if simply observing the people around. I walked down to find a better seat somewhere in the center, grabbed the materials on the seat, sat down, and looked at her. She was looking in my direction. I thought that she may be reading my aura and that was what she was doing to other people too. I wondered what she could be finding out in my aura. But I just started to read the materials that I have in my hand. I was so surprised that there was a Dictation on that day and Saint Germain dictated! I learned later from the members that whoever Ascended Master dictated during your first experience of dictation could likely be your sponsoring Ascended Master.
               Because of that seminar, I came to know that there was a Summit Lighthouse Group in the Philippines. But I did not join the Group immediately after the seminar. I hesitated because somehow, I thought I was still worldly and had impurities. And I thought that many members could have supernatural abilities such as reading another’s mind or aura and it would be embarrassing for me if they find that I always have some negative worldly thoughts. Somehow, I had a feeling of unworthiness.
               It took a year before I decided to become a member. That was the time when I had personal problems which somehow were burdensome for me. Somehow a deep longing for spirituality occurred to me that made me decide to come to the Summit Lighthouse Study Group located in Makati, Metro Manila. But at the back of my mind, there was still worry that some members might be able to read my past worldly activities and thoughts; but I reasoned that they would understand me despite that.
               I learned in the Center that there were regular weekly lectures (maybe 7 – 9 days) which I can attend, at the end of which I can decide to become a member. It was in one of those lectures that I learned about the “dweller on the threshold”. I have already discussed this topic in one of my blogs. This so-called ‘dweller on the threshold’ is your negative past-life momentums dwelling just under the surface of consciousness which has now surfaced so that you start to engage in acts or activities that are inimical to your spiritual development. It was so persistent which can be likened to a mad animal that refuses to be tamed.  Or like a monster dragon that surfaced out of the water ready to devour anyone that falls under its line of sight.  I learned from the lecture that there is a specific ‘decree’ to slay the dweller on the threshold even before it surfaces out of one’s sub-conscious. I realized that this so-called dweller on the threshold had already occurred to me. Then I thought that had I become a member of the group early, it would not have happened to me. The Decree book vol 1 that I bought does not include the Decree on slaying the dweller on the threshold. There are three volumes of The Summit Lighthouse decree book; if bind together it could be about two and a half inches thick. I also learned that Psychism is not advocated by the Ascended Master Teaching.
               I was so excited about attending the lectures and couldn’t wait to become a member. As soon as I became a member, I began to attend all the Services regularly. I liked the services, the songs are so beautiful, long hours of decrees, listening to dictations. Saturday service is three hours long. There were services almost every day except Thursday which is lecture day.  Services on weekdays were conducted in the evenings. So, I was almost in the Center every day. I availed of borrowing many books and videotapes in the library for free. I learned that there was none of them who can read another’s thoughts, I mean mental telepathy and reading auras. I became close to them, developed friendship and they were just ordinary but fantastic people from all walks of life.              
                As time passed by, I developed a momentum on giving dynamic decrees and I was trained to become a Decree leader. I also assisted during lectures until I too became a lecturer.  I remember that there were periods when we conduct regular prayer vigils, where we would stay in the Center overnight, almost weekly. Fasting was suggested to be done weekly, half-fasting usually. Three days was the maximum fasting that you can do. I remember I tried the three-day fasting on water. (But I took Vitamin tablets). By the second day I already felt weakness in my body; probably it was on the third day when I noticed that my knees and legs were shaking when I walk due to weakness from starvation. But I felt much lighter in body and mind, which is a good feeling. I thought that fasting could be addictive because of this good feeling. I only did it once just to try if I can do it. I suggest, don’t try it if you have not done any fasting yet.  I learned later that regular water fasting that long is not good for one’s health especially if one is skinny or underweight. I also tried the suggested brown rice fasting, but you’ve got to chew it thoroughly 108 times so that it’s almost liquid before swallowing it. And that is also to neutralize its acidity. Half-fasting once a week or twice a month might be better.  Half-fasting here means you will not eat a meal within a 24- hour period. If for example you ate dinner at 8:00 pm, you will not eat until 8:00 pm the next day. Or if you eat lunch at 12:00 noon, you will not eat until 12:00 noon the next day. In other words, you only eat a meal in a day and without any snacks. When you fast, you aren’t supposed to be working. You should instead be doing prayers, dynamic decrees, and meditations or reading Holy Scriptures and books.  Doing strenuous physical activity while fasting isn’t good for one’s health.
             Others adopt only a 12-hour fast somewhat similar to what Muslims do during Ramadan where they eat meals before dawn and after sunset. Still,  others adopt a type of Intermittent Fasting where you only eat between 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. In an article about Intermittent Fasting contributed by Monique Tello (MD, MPH) to Harvard Health Blog, she tells about the opinion of Dr. Deborah Wexler, an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School where she confirmed that “There is evidence to suggest that the circadian rhythm fasting approach, where meals are restricted to an eight to 10-hr period of the daytime, is effective” though generally, she recommends that people “use an eating approach that works for them and is sustainable to them.” It is generally suggested that you stay hydrated by drinking enough water, herbal teas, and fruit and vegetable juices during fast. The Temple of the Presence suggests fasting on vegetable juices and liquid proteins.  Nowadays, there are varieties of milk available in the supermarket such as almond, coconut, cashew, soy, rice, and oat kinds of milk. Be cautious however, that you don’t drink too many liquid proteins. Sometimes I include vegetable soups on my fast. I don’t think it is recommendable to drink fresh vegetable juices at this time where there is a risk that vegetables could be contaminated with coronavirus.
            According to an article on Medical News Today, What Happens if you Fast for a Day, occasional 24-hour fasting can have health benefits such as improving cardiovascular health and for weight-loss tool; but there are also risks for some people such as those with diabetes, those with a history of eating disorders, people using medications that they must take with food, children and adolescents and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.   There are also risks involve when breaking fast.  Some people tend to overeat after fasting which is dangerous (especially for people who have high blood pressure) because the total cholesterol level might shoot up especially if you eat too much foods with high-level of bad cholesterols such as saturated and trans fats. Better not to fast if you think you cannot control yourself to overeat. And, people who were into weight-loss would only derail their efforts. According to the abovementioned article, there are several ways to safely break a fast such as drinking water, eating a small meal, chew food thoroughly,  eat cooked foods so that it is easier to digest, and avoid experimenting on new foods which could make digestion harder. Others recommend breaking fast by eating only fruits and vegetables first or bowl of soup.
              There are studies that suggest many health benefits of fasting, some are even surprising such as promoting longevity, boosts brain function, and promoting the immune system, although these are being questioned by other experts saying more studies are needed. However, for many religious organizations, it has spiritual purposes.  It is for self-purification -body, mind, and soul - and for bringing one’s self closer with God. Thus, they fast not only from food but also from activities that take our attention away from God such as gambling, watching movies, attending parties, and nowadays too much social media, etc.  
               Continuing, my colleagues in my place of work were surprised to know that I don’t drink alcoholic drinks anymore. I don’t join with them anymore in any social drinking activities. If there were necessary work-related meetings or conferences that I had to attend, I would just drink soft-drinks or glasses of water. I told them that I had some disciplines to follow as part of my membership to my spiritual organization. My diet too was changed. The Macrobiotic diet is the one recommended by the Summit Lighthouse. I didn’t eat pork anymore and I refrain from eating sugar. Sugar, especially the white (refined) one, is considered poison. French fries and popcorns are to be avoided. These things, however, are just encouraged to be done by members. There are no rigid rules to follow. But you are expected to uphold the Teachings especially if you are in the Center. I am very thankful for that kind of discipline, if not for that I probably had already some kind of disease associated with junk foods. You are also expected to avoid puffing cigarettes, listening to rock musics, and engage in activities that are not good for your spiritual life.
               For more than a decade, I abided by these disciplines. But then there were periods in my life (probably 1997 – 2005) that I happened to lax. It is partly because negative momentums began to take hold again, and I was in a new workplace and environment where the influence of colleagues was strong. I began to drink alcoholic beverages again though only on occasions. I even went to pubs with them. But I kept this secret with my spiritual fraternity. (This is probably some kind of confession.)  When I got married, I stopped those negative worldly activities anymore. When I drink alcoholic beverages only a bottle or a couple, and only occasionally during birthday celebrations, and other social gatherings, which is very rare. Besides, I have mild stomach acidity. But now I feel I am all for Spirituality. I surrender all worldliness and myself to God.
                If any of you are contemplating on becoming a member and you have all the means necessary, I suggest that you don’t procrastinate. You would be very thankful I am sure as I am. Probably an Angel, Archangel, or sponsoring Ascended Master is contacting you. I will leave to you which Ascended Master Organization you would like to choose.  The Summit Lighthouse or Temple of the Presence or even other true Ascended Master Teaching Organizations. Probably choose the one that resonates with you. If you are thinking that you need to be knowledgeable first with the Teachings, forget that. Just knowing the basic teachings is enough. Most important is the Science of the Spoken Word, Violet Flame, Holy Christ Self and Individualized I AM Presence, Karma and Reincarnation, Ascension, and Ascended Masters. Advancement in learning can be done slowly. You don’t have to, and you can’t learn everything overnight. Some of them you could learn during casual conversations with members. 
                You will find that most of the members of The Temple of the Presence had been from previous Ascended Master Activities notably, The Summit Lighthouse. But I knew a couple of members who learned about the Temple of the Presence only through information from friends. They often attend Conferences, but their friends don’t.
                I just want to let you know that you will find some discrepancies between the TOP and TSL Teachings especially on the belief in the fallen angels and the judgment calls. To me, this is not a big deal. But I am not supportive of naming individuals, fallen angels or not, to give judgment calls on the part of TSL. In my opinion, evildoers will be judged by Law whether you call for it or not. And I think the approach of the TOP can have the same effect.  I believe there are decrees in the TOP that can expose and brought to judgement the evildoers such as Ruby Ray and Mighty Astrea Calls and there are inserts mentioning evil activities in general terms.

CALLING 10,000 LIGHTBEARERS TO GIVE VIOLET FLAME DECREES FOR THE MITIGATION OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK

               Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and safe. I decided to go live on FACEBOOK while giving the Dynamic Decree session for the containment of the coronavirus to mitigate its impact on our affairs. The reason is so that we can do the giving of dynamic decrees in real-time simultaneously (or almost simultaneously, due to the time lag during transmission). As I have explained before, many people decreeing simultaneously is more effective. Another reason is so that we can be flexible on the decree matrix that we would like to implement. For example, I can change the Tube of Light decree, the protection decree, as well as the violet flame decrees to be replaced by another as the case may be. For example, we know that some countries have high cases of coronavirus infection like the USA, Italy, Iran, Spain, etc. So instead of just giving THE EARTH IS A PLANET OF VIOLET FIRE, THE EARTH IS THE PURITY GOD DESIRES, we can vary this into USA IS A NATION OF VIOLET FIRE, USA IS THE PURITY GOD DESIRES, OR ITALY IS A NATION OF VIOLET FIRE, ITALY IS THE PURITY GOD DESIRES, perhaps giving it 12x. Then we will proceed with other nations, regions or continents. I can also guide the decree session as to how and what to visualize while you are decreeing. In so doing, we can focus our attention or intention on a specific thing so that we can be of one mind and Heart for that matter. There is a great advantage when doing this dynamic decree together simultaneously.

              Remember that when we are giving this Violet Flame decrees, the legions of Violet Flame angels, the Holy Spirit, the individualized I AM Presences, and in fact the Brotherhood of Light shall implement what we ask for in answer to our calls. It is not we who are doing it, it is not our mind; we are just giving the calls with visualizations and the legions of Violet Flame angels, who are one with our I AM Presence and the Brotherhood of Light, are implementing them as the Great Law will allow.

Just remember that when we give the mantra, I AM A BEING OF VIOLET FIRE I AM THE PURITY GOD DESIRES, we are not only purifying ourselves but the world as well because we are all connected. Each one is like a broadcasting station affecting and influencing the mental and feeling bodies of the world. The more the number of decreers the greater will be the impact. Likewise, when we give the mantra, THE EARTH IS A PLANET OF VIOLET FIRE THE EARTH IS THE PURITY GOD DESIRES, remember that we are also purifying ourselves as we are part of the world. 

             The Violet Flame decrees proper should commence at the time I provided - 12:00 noon GMT and/or 10:15 pm GMT. We should, therefore, start the decree session perhaps 15 minutes earlier to give time for our Tube of Light and Protection decrees. Besides, I intend to give some introduction before doing the decree session. By the way, I have set my Facebook account open to the public. All Ascended Master Activities are welcome to participate because as you know the more people decreeing simultaneously, the greater the multiplication of power and momentum.

• Provision of enough medical equipment as well as healing, comfort, strength, and speedy recovery of those who are already affected by the disease.
• Protection of those who are most vulnerable especially the elderly and those who have weakened health conditions.
• Prevention of the further transmission and spread of this coronavirus.
• Protection, strength, and health of all health-care workers, and researchers.
• Provision of needed foods and Vitamin supplements for the citizens to strengthen their health and immune systems.
• Cooperation, Peace and Harmony among various governments, organizations and the entire citizenry; and
• Transmutation of the feeling and mental bodies of the planet as well as optimism and positive outlook from the citizens of the world.

            We also pray for the souls of those that have departed to be protected and be taken in the Octaves of Light in the etheric retreats of their Loved ones, the Saints and Sages, the Ascended Masters, Angels, and many Heavenly Beings in the Kingdom of God.

ERADICATION OF COVID-19

In the light of current challenges that the world faces, I would like to gather again the 10,000 Lightbearers of the World to once again take up the call to the Violet Flame. Some of you may already be giving your daily dynamic decrees. I request that apart from that we again give the mantra I AM A BEING OF VIOLET FIRE I AM THE PURITY GOD DESIRES that Saint Germain has given us. Let us give this mantra for 15 minutes daily at 12:00 pm (UTC/GMT) and/or 10:15 pm (UTC/GMT). (You can find your local time at this Time Zone Converter) Then continue for the next 15 minutes with a variation of said mantra, THE EARTH IS A PLANET VIOLET FIRE, THE EARTH IS THE PURITY GOD DESIRES.  

This time we will focus our attention to the eradication of COVID-19 throughout the world. As an insert, we will ask God for the implementation of corrective measures in every country to prevent the further spread of this virus and mitigate its impact, development of the vaccine, the healing and comfort of those who are already affected as well as to alleviate the feeling and mental bodies of the people around the planet, etc. We will also pray for the souls of those who have passed away to be taken in the Octave of Light in the company of their Ascended Loved ones, Ascended Saints and Sages of all ages, the Ascended Masters, Angels, and many glorious Heavenly Beings in the Kingdom of Godin the Great Central Sun.

I am aware that the Ascended Master Activities like The Temple of the Presence and The Summit Lighthouse are currently conducting their own services specifically for arresting the outbreak of this coronavirus besetting the world. I am sure other Ascended Master Activities are doing the same thing for it is the hallmark of these Activities whenever disasters and world problems like this are coming. This initiative will allow those who are non-members nevertheless followers of the Ascended Master Teachings to participate in this endeavor. This will surely cause great multiplication of our calls. Take this opportunity to participate in this initiative for we have a world to save. This action will surely incur good karma on your part. 

We need to realize that the present challenges we face are part of mankind’s karma coming to the surface that needs to be transmuted. This virus is born out of the astral plane. Consider this pandemic in the world as maya, unreality, and illusion. It has no power. It is not the will of God that this will come into manifestation. Let us remember that the Will of God is always for the Goodness, Perfection, Happiness, Peace, Harmony and Beauty of our own world. This is the true reality that must come into manifestation. But we need to make the call, we have to ask God to intervene in human affairs and that will solve the problem and bring forth perfection in its place. Remember that we have our Holy Christ Presence and Mighty I AM Presence that can protect us if we acknowledge it. 

                O my beloved Holy Christ Presence and my Mighty I AM Presence we call for thy Tube of Light* to descend and surround us, to shield us from the unseen negative forces from the astral plane. We call for thy Electronic Circle of protection around us. We also call to thee O Archangel Michael and your legions of Blue Lightning Angels for the protection of each one of us. Stand within our world right now! Release the Blue Lightning of Ten Thousand Suns right now! Sweep into all astral and psychic opposition and human conditions in our world and annihilate them right now!

In the name of the Christ and my  Beloved Mighty I AM Presence, we call to thee O beloved Jesus, Archangel Raphael and Mother Mary, beloved Saint Germain, Archangel Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst, beloved Elohim Arcturus and Victoria, the elemental forces of nature and the entire Spirit of the Brotherhood of Light, we call to thee to take dominion over the current challenges that the world faces especially the outbreak of the coronavirus. We call for the Violet Flame river to sweep through the earth and we call for the: 

• Eradication of the Coronavirus through the implementation of correct measures adopted by the governments of the world as well as the development of the vaccines against this virus;
• Healing, comfort and speedy recovery of those who are already affected by the disease; 
• Protection, strength, and health of all health-care professionals, and Researchers; 
• Cooperation, Peace and Harmony among various organizations and the entire citizenry; and 
• Transmutation of the feeling and mental bodies of the planet as well as optimism and positive outlook from the citizens of the world

We also pray for the souls of those that have departed to be protected and be taken in the Octaves of Light in the etheric retreats of their Loved ones, the Saints and Sages, the Ascended Masters, Angels, and many Heavenly Beings in the Kingdom of God.

Remember that when we call for the action of the Violet Flame, it exhibits its nature which is forgiving, all-loving and joyous. So, we have to visualize and feel its Loving, Forgiving and Joyous flame action even as it consumes and transmutes the discord in our own being and the world around us. Let us try to maintain these pleasant feelings throughout the giving of our decrees. Let us also have that indomitable faith and confidence that our calls have already been answered and that this karma has been mitigated, stopped in its course, has already passed and all is now well, and a New Day is breaking.

Let’s try to do this Violet Flame decrees until this Virus is eradicated.

            Then you can return to your normal regular decree hours afterward. Actually, mitigation of karma through Violet Flame decrees can best be done if we do it long before its occurrence. This is the reason why members of the Ascended Master Activities are doing it regularly. The Summit Lighthouse for example, has a regular 24-hour Violet Flame Vigil every 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th of the month as well 22^nd, 23^rd, and 24^th of the month for the purpose of mitigating the cycles of karma. This is apart from the regular services and personal daily decrees that they are doing.  The Temple of the Presence too has ‘Round-the-Clock giving of dynamic decrees every day. There are certain members around the world doing dynamic decrees every two-hour time slots for 24 hours daily. So, you can be assured that any time of the day and night (24/7) there are some members giving their dynamic decrees.  In a way, the calamity that we are facing now has been mitigated because of these regular decrees. We are just delivering an intensified manner of decree service to further mitigate the world karma. 

                 The question that might be asked is, are there enough number of members doing this mighty work of the ages? Maybe. But I reckon we need more. There are times that there could be some members who might not be available to do this.  Hence, I am asking the people out there to join us in this heroic endeavor. Better if you become a member. If that is not possible, you are always free to join us in giving dynamic decrees, even attend the services that are open to public some are online which you can find on their websites. Remember that this is not only for world transformation but also for transmutation and balancing of our personal karma.

                Here is to give you an example of the power of Violet Flame decrees.  I remember there were certain times when I was an active member of the Summit Lighthouse in the Philippines, that during our services and Vigils we always give an insert for the reversing of the tide and mitigation of the impending typhoon that is coming towards the Philippines whenever there is one. That typhoon always veered away from Metro Manila. I remember I am sure that there is a record (which can be found in PAGASA - Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration) that not a single typhoon hit Metro Manila for the whole year perhaps for two consecutive years because of that decree services. I don’t remember the period, but it should be sometime in 1986 to the early 1990s. I also remember that we also called for the mitigation of the eruption of Mt Mayon. Even in the recent threat of eruption, I decreed for its prevention, perhaps some of you or members in the Philippines did too. If there are many members doing such decree service, I believe it can be made possible because the elemental forces of nature are very obedient. We should love them and befriend them. They will obey our commands under the intelligent direction of the Hierarch of the Elements and Elohim in answer to our calls in the name of the Christ and Mighty I AM Presence. (If our call is in accordance with the Law). I believe, even the coming of earthquakes can be mitigated. Perhaps the impending Big One in Metro Manila is being mitigated gradually. The small and medium intensity earthquakes that have occurred could be mitigations in the process. You can visualize the Violet Flame and the elementals of nature healing the fault lines gradually including the core, mantle, and earth's crust. The whole geology of the earth can be healed as well as the atmosphere. You can visualize the Violet Flame enveloping and bathing the planet from the inner core up to the atmosphere. There will always be earthquakes. In fact, earthquakes are occurring everyday on this planet although very low intensity. Perhaps it will only stop if the axis of the earth has returned to its vertical position. You will recall that I mentioned in one of my blogs that the tilting of the axis of the earth is the result of the sins of mankind according to AMT.

MY VIEW ON CONTAINMENT OF CORONA VIRUS

            Based on the information I gathered concerning the outbreak of Corona virus as well as the different measures that governments of the world have taken, I would like to express the following:

            There are already corrective measures that have worked such as that of China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and South Korea. Their decisive corrective measures such as immediate lockdowns in my view is something to be adopted by others regardless of the current status. The measures adopted by Philippine government to me is commendable even if there are still small identified number of cases infected by the virus.  This is because if only one or two infected by virus attended a large social gathering you can imagine how quickly the virus will spread. I am not in favor of the so-called "herd immunity" that is being considered by UK. This is because it is risky as there is no assurance of its end-result. Why adopt something that could jeopardize the health of the general public not to mention the sufferings that they would experience, when there are already tested measures that have successfully worked. Another thing is, if for example the virus is deadlier that so-called “herd immunity” will certainly be suicidal. My point here is if in the future another deadlier virus outbreak occur, God forbids, the nations of the world would already be familiar with what to do. And they would have been prepared for it. The governments can take this as an exercise for that future occurrence.

                 (With regards to measures being adopted by Australia, particularly the banning of gathering of more than 500 people, to me that number is still high; 10 will be appropriate (like the one adopted by US) as they themselves will be able to monitor and manage their actions such as practice of hygiene and they know if they are not infected. Australia has not closed the schools yet when many of them are more than 500 people. It seems that the only concern of the PM is that the parents who are health care professionals would not be able to work because they will be staying at home to look for their children. I think this can be remedied by simply putting up a temporary day care in schools specifically for the children of health care professionals.)

          (Personally, I am in favor of anticipating any type of calamities in the future and the government and people be prepared for it. There should be a ready system and measures in place just in case such calamities occur. There must be enough supplies of materials and equipment as well as enough personnel to handle and mitigate such uncertainties, if not it can be quickly made available. And then always pray that such calamities will not happen.)

           Lock downs, school closures, flight bans, isolations will surely be effective on halting the spread of the virus regardless of whether it has gone far or not. Why? It is simply because it minimizes people contacting one another directly or indirectly through touching what others have touched. Those who have already contracted a disease due to virus will be treated. There are surely other people who are already infected by the virus but have no symptoms yet. During the 4 weeks lockdowns, they will surely experience the symptoms (within 2 weeks) and will then seek medical treatments. (This will be the cause of spikes) Those whom they got in personal contact with as well as the places they have been to can be traced; they can be advised for observation and testing, and the places can be disinfected and can be marked as red zones for the public to know. During the next two weeks, they too will surface to seek treatment and be identified as well. Owing to lock downs no more further infections can occur and the cases will begin to subside.

              Everyone of course must be given information on the precautionary measures such as proper hygiene, frequent washing of hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or the use of alcohol-based sanitizers, avoiding touching the face especially when the hands aren’t washed,  changing clothes and taking shower daily after work, avoiding touching suspected surfaces like door knobs, handrails, elevator buttons, personal belongings of others as much as possible, etc. Frequent cleaning and disinfecting personal belongings can be practiced. You can treat every member of household as if they are already carrier of virus especially after coming from the outside. Many testing centers must be available so that anyone experiencing even a slight symptom can immediately ask for testing. 

              With respect to impact on economy, I would prefer a little economic sacrifice than to take the risk of endangering the lives of people. Economy can always catch up. Otherwise, you will find another economic turmoil coupled with another disaster in the future. 

               What is more important is our spirituality. We need to ask God’s help. We have to rely on divine intervention on human affairs because trying to solve something without regard to the Presence of God can result in failure if not today in the future challenges. This is because God will withdraw himself from us because you are denying his Presence. We know that human intellect is subject to error, somehow you will encounter problems that cannot be determined by human mind and effort. In fact, this outbreak of virus occurred because of collective human errors in the past. It is part of the karma of mankind. There is a certain negative human creation in the forgotten past recorded in the memory body of the planet that led to the surfacing into the physical realm that needs to be transmuted and balanced. See my next blog in relation to this matter.

THE UNKNOWN LIFE OF SAINT ISSA BY NICHOLAS NOTOVITCH

Nicolas Notovitch was a Crimean Jewish adventurer, Cossack officer, writer and journalist. He was born in Russia and later lived in Paris. He had published a number of books and the most widely known is the "Unknown Life of Saint Issa" first published in French in 1894, which spurred heated debates.  Issa is a Tibetan name for Jesus and may also be a Hindu name Isha which means Lord. In the foreword of the book, it is said to be sourced from a Tibetan document, in two big volumes yellowed by the lapse of time in Himis Lamasery situated at the highlands of Ladakh. The Abbot at Himis read the document to Notovitch which he wrote down at the backpage of his travelling notebook while being translated by his interpreter.  This transpired while Notovitch was under the care of the monastery while he was recuperating from a broken leg due to accident. The document resembles the account on the life of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels, but it includes an account where he went to India and trained under the Masters. He also became a great expositor and opposed the tradition of caste system in India. The documents contain striking deviations from the Gospels as there is an absence of Jesus’s working of miracles; and the real culprit on Jesus’ crucifixion is Pontius Pilate instead of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Naturally, the book faced lots of oppositions from Christian scholars as it deviates and contradicts what is written in the New Testament and the mainstream Christian belief. The book was immediately labelled a hoax by F. Max Mueller, an Orientalist and a professor in Oxford . His article was published in The Nineteenth Century British journal (July –Dec 1894). He accused Notovitch of fabricating the whole story concerning the Life of Saint Issa. From the analysis of Dr James Deardoff, an atmospheric scientist who later turned independent scholar of the New Testament, there are some valid arguments that Mueller raised in his article but were satisfactorily answered by Notovitch in the preface to the English translation of his book in 1895 and therefore became seemingly irrelevant. Dr James Deardoff discussed his defense for Notovitch in his article, "A New Ecumenism  based upon Reexamination of the ‘Lost Years’ Evidence“. Dr. James Deardoff says that one of the valid ones among Mueller’s arguments is accusing Notovitch that he may not have been in Ladakh where the Lamasery is because careful inquiry from missionaries and English officers passing through Leh, Ladakh, they declare that no Russian gentleman of the name of Notovitch ever passed through Leh, and that no traveller with a broken leg was ever nursed in the monastery of Himis; Another is the absence of the so-called Life of Saint Issa in the catalogue of Tibetan manuscripts and books, known as Kandjur and Tandjur, which had already been published in Asiatic Researches and had been studied by scholars. In addition, there was a missionary lady in Leh who wrote to Mueller that she went to the Lamasery and was told that no Russian has ever been there and no one has been taken into the Seminary for the past fifty years with a broken leg!

Notovitch answered Mueller’s accusation mentioning that the list in the Kandjur and Tandjur are incomplete as there are over a hundred thousand of Tibetan books and manuscripts in Lhasa alone, and he explained in later editions of his book that it can never be found in the catalogue because they were originally diverse copies from a number of books under the form of isolated verses and then compiled into two volumes, where the order and placement frequently had no apparent connection with or relation to each other.  As said by Notovitch, he simply put everything into coherent unity. Some of the critics construed or misconstrued that he back-pedaled on revising the book. However, it can be interpreted that Notovitch simply tells the exact details of the information he obtained from Himis. It is probably because in the first edition, Notovitch finds that simply mentioning the two yellowed volumes was more appealing to the readers; but since this was being put into question, he had it clarified in later editions. Or it could be that he intentionally made it so as a way of protecting the document, because he foresees the possibility that some malicious/fanatic character would try to steal it.  

Moreover, he encouraged a scientific expedition by the Society of Savans to Tibet to prove the authenticity of his work. He also said to his future critics to limit their criticism whether the passages in his book is existent in the lamasery or not and if he faithfully reproduced the same. Later, he responded to Mueller by saying that he is no hoaxer nor forger and he will journey to the Himis lamasery again to prove the authenticity of his work. 

To the question that Notovitch may not have been in Ladakh, Dr. Deardoff explains that Notovitch’s detailed description of exterior and interior of Himis monastery as well as mentioning names who can attest to his presence there, is enough to dispel doubts that he had been in the monastery. Furthermore, a certain English and History Professor in a Government College in Agra,India, Prof. J. Archibald Douglas had acknowledged evidence that Notovitch had been in Leh, Ladakh although he severely criticized the authenticity of the book by Notovitch, which we will discuss later. Moreover, Dr. Fida Hassnain has discovered that in the diary entry of the Moravian missionary, it mentions Notovitch had been in Himis in 1887 although she says that his story is pure nonsense and fraud. Dr Fida Hassnain said that he has a photograph of the said diary entry. Dr Fida Hassnain was a Kashmiri writer and Sufi Mystic. He became Director of Kashmir State Archives (1954-1983).

Having learned of Mueller’s accusations of forgery and Notovitch’s defense of his controversial book, Prof. J. Archibald Douglas went to Ladakh and investigated the truth or falsity of Notovitch’s Unknown Life of St. Issa. He had it published in "The Nineteenth Century" (Jan – June 1896), a year after Prof. Mueller published his. The article shows that Prof. Douglas came to the Lamasery and with the help of an interpreter Shamhwell Joldan, a late postmaster in Ladakh, he was able to ask the Chief Lama series of questions regarding Notovitch’s narrative and the document about the Unknown life of Saint Issa. Overall, the article displays that the Chief Lama repudiated everything about Notovitch’s claim.  According to the article, the questions and answers was signed by and sealed with official seal by the Chief Lama along with the signature of Prof. Douglas and Shahmwell Joldan. 

To this article Notovich answered that the Lama lied to Douglas for fear that the manuscripts might get lost as there had been occurrences of stealing their properties purportedly committed by foreigners. 

At first reading of the articles of Profs. Mueller and Douglas in the Nineteenth Century Journal, you could be convinced that the Life of Saint Issa by Notovitch is really a fabrication and you would say that this Life of Jesus in India had already been debunked. However, there are lots of prominent writers and personalities who still believe that Jesus went to India and has therefore cast doubt in the veracity of Douglas’ article. I believe this is partly because, upon careful examination of Douglas’ article, it appears that an original copy of the document said to have been signed and officially sealed by the Chief Lama was not photographed and printed in The Nineteenth Century journal  because Prof Douglas simply mentioned that he gave it to Mueller; and Mueller simply attested that what Douglas said in the article is the same as the original. This means that the said signed document from Himis was never shown to the public. If this is the case, some readers following the Nineteenth Century journal would think that it was just a fabrication of Douglas carefully coloured to make it real and that there was a collusion between Mueller and him; or it could be that in truth, the Chief Lama refused to meet Douglas pertaining to the said manuscripts. Possibly, Notovitch did not dare to raise this question for it is better to presume that the said Q & A was authentic and simply responded by saying that the Chief Lama lied to Douglas.  I believe the reason why the book of Notovitch was republished in America in 1926 (it had been banned before) was because the publishers were not convinced of Prof. Douglas’ investigation and of course also to make more business profit.

Among the writers who expressed doubt in the veracity of Douglas’ interview with the Chief Lama is Mrs. Prophet, who in her book, “The Lost Years of Jesus” she implies the possibility of Douglas’ fabrication as she mentioned that there is no mention of background of Prof. Douglas except as an English and History Professor in College of Agra. In addition, the said interpreter Shamhwell Joldan is a Christian convert in Tibet who would be bias in favour of Christian belief. Another writer, Dr. James Deardorff put forth in his article, "A New Ecumenism based upon Reexamination of the Lost Year's Evidence" that Douglas was the unknowing victim of a monk's discretion or subterfuge; and indicates that J. Archibald Douglas had either been hoaxed into confirming the conclusions he was looking for, or had engineered such a hoax himself. Many authors who maintain that Jesus lived in India are definitely aware of Mueller’s and Douglas’ articles. There is Edward T. Martin, author of “King of Travellers” which has inspired Paul David and created the film “Jesus in India”. In one of the interviews about the film, David mentioned that there are critics of Jesus’ lost years but many of them are spurious. He further states metaphorically, that if there is smoke, there is fire.

I would like to put forward two things that have never been discussed in any books and article that I know of regarding the veracity of Douglas’ article.  Upon reading, I realized that it is more likely that Douglas’ Article is originally meant to pre-empt or to dissuade Notovitch from coming again to Himis lamasery to prove the truth of his Issa book since he had said that he will do so. Should Notovitch was able to prove this, Mueller would be at risk of being sued in court or losing his face. Thus, collusion between Mueller and Douglas is also not a remote possibility in this case.  Another possibility is a British official is behind the publication of article because of strong suspicion that Notovitch is a Russian spy. Take note that Douglas said in the article that, “With reference to M. Notovitch's declaration that he is going to Himis to verify the statements made in his book, I would take the liberty of earnestly advising him, if he does so, to disguise himself at least as effectually as on the occasion of his former visit. M. Notovitch will not find himself popular at Himis, and might not gain admittance, even on the pretext of having another broken leg”. It seems that this statement is calculated to dissuade Notovitch from coming to Himis again.

We must remember that Russians like Notovitch who comes to India, Tibet and neighboring countries are at risk of being suspected as spies during that time by British authorities. It can be learned from history that there was geo-political rivalry between Russia and Britain during that time as to who can control Tibet. The general sentiment of Tibetans including the 13^th Dalai Lama is they are not in favour of gradual intrusion of Imperial British from India towards Tibet. In fact, when a treaty was created between Russia and Tibet, the British Empire decided to invade Tibet in 1904 for fear that Russia may gain control of Tibet. So, it is very possible that a British authority is behind Douglas’ investigation to prevent Notovitch from taking another journey to Tibet.  It can be observed that Douglas mentioned at the end of the article that, “The general accuracy of my statements respecting my interviews with the Lama of Himis can further be borne out by reference to Captain Chevenix Trench, British Commissioner of Ladakh, who is due to visit Himis about the end of the present month, and who has expressed to me his intention of discussing the subject with the Chief Lama”. This means that Prof. Douglas conveyed the matter to Captain Trench prior to publication of article. Why did Douglas do it and why would Captain Trench still discuss the matter with the Chief Lama when he could had been fully convinced with Douglas’ investigation (as the Q&A already bears the signature and official seal of the Chief Lama)? We can herein even suspect that Captain Trench and Prof Douglas is one and the same person.

Careful examination of Douglas’ article will reveal a possibility that no Question and Answer had taken place between Douglas and the Chief Lama. For one thing, Prof. Douglas portrays that the Chief Lama exhibits real indignation over Notovitch’s story and even emphasized that he burst out with “lies, lies, lies, nothing but lies!”  He also said that the Chief Lama further asked him if there is no means in Europe that can punish person who tells such untruths. To my mind, it is unlikely for a venerable Chief Lama to exhibit such attitude.  

Secondly, the Chief Lama is most likely to turn down any request of interview from him for the ff reason:  If the manuscript was really non-existent in the monastery and no Sahib had ever asked about it, the Chief Lama would not allow or bother himself for such a lengthy Q&A as there would be no need for it; simply saying that there is no such manuscript in the lamasery and there was no one inquired about it is more than enough. He doesn’t need to sign any document and seal with his official seal such lengthy Q and A which is subject to error because of possible mistranslation. Besides, Douglas’ interpreter is a Christian convert. Take note that Lamas are practitioner of honesty and truthfulness.

  

Thirdly, considering that Tibet is in precarious position due to increased tension between Russia and Britain during that time, upon learning that Douglas is an Englishman verifying the work of a Russian (which could be a spy), will make the Chief Lama (as Tibetan Official) stay away from discussion in any subject (whether Notovitch had or had not been in Himis monastery) and thus will likely refuse to entertain Prof Douglas (who maybe Captain Trench as well).

  

It seems that the whole Q and A in the article is a fabrication carefully calculated to fully convince the public that Notovitch’s book is a lie. Or maybe at the same time, it is a British’s extra propaganda to show that Englishmen are in good terms with Tibetan Official instead of the Russians. Douglas’ discussion about religious matters were just additional or simply to hide the real motive of his article. 

Let us now examine some of the questions and answers.
  

Question 5. Are you aware of the existence of any book in any of the Buddhist monasteries of Tibet bearing on the life of Issa?

Answer 5. I have been for forty-two years a Lama, and am well acquainted with all the well-known Buddhist books and manuscripts, and I have never heard of one which mentions the name of Issa, and it is my firm and honest belief that none such exists. I have inquired of our principal Lamas in other monasteries of Tibet, and they are not acquainted with any books or manuscripts which mention the name of Issa.

This is an interview that needs to be answered right away. The answer of the Chief Lama in the second sentence, “I have inquired of our principal lamas in other monasteries….” means he had inquired long before the interview. Because to inquire just after the interview will take a long time to get the answer for it should be via telegraph or phone or sending messengers to other monasteries, and they will still need to research it. If the Chief lama inquired long before the interview, it will be because he must have read or learned about the book of Notovitch, and he must therefore mention it to Douglas and say that there is no truth in it. To me the above Q & A is very unlikely. Perhaps, this is Douglas’ mistake on fabricating the Question and answer. The last sentence could be aimed to further discredit Notovitch that there is no truth in his story that a lama from other monastery informed him of existence of life of Saint Issa in Himis monastery; but it turned out to be an evident mistake on his part. 

Question 6. M. Nicolas Notovitch, a Russian gentleman who visited your monastery between seven and eight years ago, states that you discussed with him the religions of the ancient Egyptians, Assyrians, and the people of Israel.

Answer 6. I know nothing whatever about the Egyptians, Assyrians, and the people of Israel, and do not know anything of their religions whatsoever. I have never mentioned these peoples to any sahib.

In my opinion, a Chief Lama is expected to be a well-educated man or at least keen seeker of knowledge.  He should at least know something about the Egyptians, people of Israel or Jews and religion of Judaism in comparison with Christianity considering that that there were many Christian missionaries in their area. There should be books, newspapers and magazines that are sources of knowledge in their area regarding different religions during that time. These can also be researched in their educational institutions. If this Q and A was true, his answer could have been something like, “I know something about religions of Israel and Egypt but I have never discussed this to any Sahib”

Question 7. Do you know of any Buddhist writings in the Pâli language?

Answer 7. I know of no Buddhist writings in the Pâli language; all the writings here, that I know of,  have been translated from Sanskrit and Hindi into the Tibetan language.

Pali is a liturgical language of Theravada Buddhism and many of the earliest extant Buddhist scriptures are in Pali. So, there were surely lots of Buddhist writings in Pali language in India which persisted up to about 10^th century, although we never know if there are any of them that got into Tibetan lamaseries and translated into Tibetan language. (Although Pali has been lost in india, it was still included as a subject in their educational institutions and has only been removed recently.) The Chief Lama, being an educated man, most likely know what Pali language is, being a liturgical language of Theravada Buddhism; and he must have known that there are many Buddhist writings in Pali language. In my opinion, the answer could be Douglas’ fabrication and was an evident mistake that he appended in parenthesis that based on his observation, “the Chief Lama appears not to be acquainted with the term ‘Pali’”.

Question 10. Is the name of Issa held in great respect by the Buddhists?

Answer 10. They know nothing even of his name; none of the Lamas has ever heard it, save through missionaries and European sources. 

Why did Douglas ask this last question when he already knew from the answer to question 5 that the Lama has never heard of nor acquainted with the name Issa in any Buddhist scriptures? In my opinion, this question and answer is simply added, calculated to emphasize that the story of Issa simply came from outside sources like missionaries and European travellers, further vindicating the missionary Lady of Leh that she truly inquired about Notovitch’s visit. This is also to support the answer to question 5 to make it appear that the Chief Lama inquired about it prior to Q and A.

However, if the Chief Lama already inquired about the Issa manuscripts in other monasteries long before Archibald Douglas’ interview, this means he had already learned about Notovitch’s book and should therefore come as no surprise to him, then why should he burst out with “lies, lies, lies, nothing but lies!”?

The above lengthy discussion did not prove in any way that the manuscript about the Unknown Life of St Issa was existent. It merely serves to debunk Prof Douglas’ investigation of Notovitch’s claim. However, there are many eyewitnesses of the original document in HImis lamasery. I have discussed about these in my other blog, “The Holy Scriptures and the Mystical Life and Teachings of Jesus”.

I just want to discuss some claim by apologists which can be read from Wikipedia and other sources online - that Notovitch admitted that He only fabricated the unknown Life of St Issa. This purported admission of Notovitch is often repeated online but its source is never quoted.  I think, the original source is from the book, “Indology, Indomania, and Orientalism“ by Douglas T. Mcgetchin (2010). On p. 133 of this book, right after Mcgetchin mentioned the criticism of Oxford Professor Max Mueller against Notovitch and the subsequent efforts and attestation of History Professor J. Douglas that Notovitch’s work was a lie, He then  states that “Faced with this cross-examination, Notovitch confessed to fabricating his evidence”. The wordings used sound like a case in trial court. However, Douglas T. Mcgetchin has no source where he got this confession of Notovitch from. As I have mentioned earlier, we knew that Notovitch answered their accusations. Mr. Mcgetchin probably interpreted or misinterpreted the later silence of Notovitch to be an admission. Or perhaps the statement is meant as a propaganda tool.

If the document about the Unknown life of St Issa were just a fabrication, how do you explain the fact that there are many other eyewitnesses of the original document, and one of them, Swami Abhedananda, has even translated the same. Objectors have also questioned this, but I am satisfied with the rebuttal and explanations by Dr James Deardoff in his aforesaid Article.

There is latest criticism against Notovitch by a writer Marcel Theroux, which he expressed in his article "why a Russian may have forged a tale about Jesus in India" published in The Times Literary Supplement, January 9, 2018. Obviously, he is prejudiced against Notovitch’s book. It seems that he has not read or did not care to read, or simply disregarded the articles and books of other authors who defended Notovitch particularly those that I mentioned above. He only mentioned a book “Jesus Lived in India” by Holger Kersten which to him is loopy and unreliable. It seems that the article is primarily aimed at digging the undesirable background of Notovitch and to connect it with his book about Saint Issa. One in particular: Marcel Theroux cited that in Notovitch’s book, Pontius Pilate was the one to be blamed in the crucifixion story of Jesus instead of the pharisees and sadducees. Since he noted that Notovitch himself was a Jew, he concluded that Notovitch simply fabricated this story with an intention to mitigate the pillories against the Jews in Russia where citizens are mostly Orthodox Christians. Jews there were often labelled as killers of Jesus at that time. But Notovitch was a Christian convert; and Mr Theroux reasoned that he simply converted to Orthodox Christianity to evade such religious derisions. Assuming that this observation was true, it however has no connection with Jesus coming to India. Besides, it can be noted that similar story was translated and transcribed from the same document that Swami Abhedananda had verified, which presumably Mr Theroux was not aware of, and therefore his observation can also be negated. 

   

In another instance, Mr. Theroux mentioned that Notovitch was reprimanded by Russian Government and was sent to Siberia for a brief period because of his Unknown Life of Saint Issa book. This information is dubious to me because at the time of publication of the book, Notovitch was already living in Paris. Besides, the statement seems self-contradictory. Let’s have a look here. To be sent to labor camp in Siberia even for a brief period of time means the person had been sued in court (for what charges?), had faced judicial proceedings, found guilty and then penalized. But there is no mention of such things instead it is stated that he was simply reprimanded by Russian government (meaning there was no judicial proceedings). However, to simply reprimand someone by sending to remote region of Siberia even for a short period of forced labor would be against the law and contradicts the Justice system in Russia which at that time has democratic process.  I hope this is not a propaganda statement too.

There are still many other sources of information about Notovitch that can be read online focusing on his background, pointing out that he had records of being a liar and forger just to strengthen the point that the document in question is really non-existent; but to me this character assassination has no bearing about the existence or non-existence of the said Saint Issa document, or for that matter - whether Jesus went to India or not. Even if the whole Saint Issa book was just fabrication, it doesn’t mean that Jesus did not visit India. Simply because there is no evidence doesn’t mean there is no such story of Jesus in India. As they say, the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. 

I have an alternative proposition about the original document on the Unknown Life of St Issa aside from the belief that it was written down by an Indian merchant who knew Jesus or was written down by Apostle Thomas as hinted by Nicolas Notovitch in his book. There was really such a document, but it was not a 2,000-year old document written just a few years after the death of Jesus. It probably was just written down at the time when Christianity or the life of Jesus had already spread throughout the world. Perhaps it was the time when Christian missionaries from Europe have become active in India which was around 1500s or even older. It might have originated from an advanced Buddhist monk or Hindu Yogi who has supernatural ability to access the Akashic record. And Jesus having become well-known religious figure in the region may have been a perfect model for this Master to convey to his disciples what he read from the Akasha about the Life of St Issa. This was probably written down and had found its way to be placed in the Himis monastery.  It probably was not spread in India because part of the story recounts Jesus or St Issa criticizing the Brahmins and the caste system in India. This could very well be one of the sources of the so-called oral tradition of Jesus living in India. 

   

The above was just a product of my wild imagination. You can discard it if you want. Perhaps it was really written down by an Indian Merchant or by Apostle Thomas. Perhaps, it was just a fabrication of Nicolas Notovitch. We never know. We can never tell exactly. If we will analyse the issue, the debate cannot be settled because the said document is said to be missing.  Both parties most likely knew this and thus they probably recourse to some false propaganda and counter propaganda, which is very disheartening.  It is confounding the truth instead of finding it or revealing it. 

To me, since no original document of the Unknown Life of Saint Issa can be found, its strength rests upon the many eyewitnesses who have seen the same document. It, however, cannot be considered as hard evidence. To me, whatever is the case about the Unknown Life of Saint Issa, I still believe that Jesus lived in India because there are Dictations by the Ascended Masters including Jesus himself affirming this.
